It’s Official – House For Sale | Buyers Welcomed

It’s been a very rough year (to say the least) and we’ve never had the best timing for a lot of things, so we figured, why not, let’s put the house up for sale in one of the worse possible real estate markets.

Upon the second meeting with our realtor, it was amazing to hear the statistics in the market, especially in our area and of course houses in our price range. Not one house has sold comparable to ours since the start of the new year. Great news like this can either deter you or force you to make lemonade out of a single lemon and view the glass as half full rather that half empty. I just drank the darn thing as fast as I could so I did not even have to bother with that.

Anyway, the house that Ang designed is truly up for sale. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to share the news via the internet to hopefully gain exposure. Though this has been a hard decision, we are secretively hoping to be the first to break this streak and start a rally in today’s market. OK, so I guess I did think the glass was half full, but it was only a shot glass.

Slip-Slide-Jump?

Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of Slip-n-Slides. In fact, I can’t say I’ve ever really tried one (I had a very sheltered childhood).

You can take a gander at the pictures in the “Grin Galleries” of the kidz covered in grass to see why I haven’t changed my opinion about them. Not to mention the lovely mud puddle they make in the yard that the dog “happens” to migrate to and “magically” he’s able to open the door by himself (so the kidz tell me) and proceeds to track mud throughout the house.

I will admit though, having a group of creative and resourceful children, like we have, a Slip-n-Slide does bring out a few “Reel Fun” moments.
